About Made In Punjab

After the introduction of the Punjab Grill brand over 5 years back, Mr. Zorawar Kalra launched Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. in December 2012. Massive Restaurants, headed by Mr. Kalra, is in partnership with India’s leading hospitality brand Mirah Hospitality led by Mr. Gaurav Goenka. The new venture operates under three brands with the signature brand Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra, Smart-Casual Dining Restaurants with the brand Made in Punjab and a confectionery brand.

I was recently invited to taste the unique cuisine of Made in Punjab by them in association with Food Bloggers Association of India. They have unique Punjabi cuisine, something which is very different and great in taste. I met Mr. Zorawar Karla who heads the restaurant, Mrs. Rekha Ghosh(AVP Sales &Marketing), Mr. Varun Duggal (Head Purchase),  Mr. Sameer from FBAI, Mr. Maneesh Srivastva (Food Blogger) it was a pleasure meeting all of them.

'Oh! Tikke Shikke khavange te murghe padange' that's how we punjabi's say when we go out for a dinner while deciding a place. Put it in the mouth and it will melt 'Awesome!!!'. 

Note: I ate that two which are empty could not resist.

One of my friend is a vegetarian and the only problem with vegetarian's is that they do not get variety of appetizers but here a lot of variety for vegetarian's.

Kay's Kababz and Grill - Ashok Vihar

My recent visit to this place was with my friends. After having snacks at Master Bakers we all were craving for dinner. Kay's Kababs and Grillz is one of the oldest in Deep Market, Ashok Vihar. The food and ambiance here is fair, not so good. We ordered a Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken and Mixed Breads.They serve Indian and Mughlai. No bar available here.

Overall it was a fair experience.

Kake Da Hotel

Kaka Da Hotel is one of the oldest Hotel in Connaught Place famous for good Indian food. I like the Palak Paneer, Matar Paneer, Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani here.

The food here is cooked in Desi Ghee and sometimes it looks to be little oily but awesome taste. The sitting here is on Ground floor and the First Floor.

My recent visit to this place was with my friends on Saturday night. We got Dal Makhani, Butter chicken and Palak Paneer packed and went to India Gate. The food here is really good. I still have the taste of Palak Paneer in my mouth. The Palak Paneer and Butter Nan combination was really awesome.

Shri Rama Restaurant

Shri Rama Restaurant is one of the oldest in Karol Bagh. It's near liberty cinema. I used to come here with my family when I was small. The ambiance is still the same as it used to be.

My recent visit here was when my in-laws had to come over my place for dinner. I got the Dal Makhani and Rama Special Veg. packed still the same taste as it was when I was small. I like the Dal Makhani, Rama Special Veg. and the Rama Special Chicken here. These three dishes are the best of all. The sitting here is both outside in open and A/C sitting.

Spot is the oldest place for Chinese fast food in Karol Bagh. The chinese food here is really good and nominal. The sitting area is not air-conditioned so keep in mind when you go to this place. I like the Hot Garlic noodles here they are great. The soups here are nice but not too great. Overall, a nice chinese food.

Peshawari Chicken Corner

This is one of the best eat out for chicken in Karol Bagh. A must eat out for chicken. Try out the Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Afghani and rolls here are really awesome!!!
